General Ordering Information

Production Time

Normal production lead times are as follows:
2 weeks on repeat orders
3 weeks on new orders
Note: Lead times are subject to potential seasonal pressures (usually Sept. & Oct.).
For reorders, please provide us with your most recent purchase order number (and/or Noteworthy invoice number).
Rush Service is available on custom design plastic bags.

Standard Designs

Should be ordered by part # on sample.

Standard Design product colors, typestyles and imprint areas are shown on samples.

There are no plate charges or typesetting charges for straight line copy imprints in the ad space given on the sample. Special logos and/or typestyles have a $30.00 set-up charge. Artwork, enlargements, reductions or photoprints are net extra.

Imprint size given on sample is the maximum area. Dimensions are read with figures for height (H) first and width (W) second. Keep the copy proportionate to the allowed area.

Change of imprint charge is $25.00. Minimums are as indicated or contact factory.

Standard Design product is printed on 1-side only, except where indicated otherwise.

Custom Designs

All purchase orders should specify the product name and style, size, imprint color(s) and position of imprint.

Imprint area (plate size) must be specified on purchase order, or it will be held from production until this information is obtained.

One plate is required per color, per side (unless indicated otherwise). See the Plate Charge Table for costs.

Second side printing is available on plastic bags at no additional charge. However, printing plates are required for all second side printing, even when repeating the first side design.

Colored plastic is available. See PLASTIC BAG COLORS AVAILABLE.

For plastic products, standard ink colors available as follows:

Special PMS ink matches are available at $60.00 per color.
Note: For plastic products that use special inks, ink colors are referenced on the individual product pages.

For paper products, standard ink colors available are referenced on the individual product pages.
For foil hot stamping, standard foil colors available are referenced on the individual product pages.

Proofs

Standard Design Proofs: Black & White (FAX) at $10.00 (net).

Custom Design Proofs:

Black & White (FAX) at $5.00 (net).
Tektronix Color Print at $30.00 (net).
Digital Color Proof at $40.00 (net).
Press Proof at $200.00 (net) plus artwork and plate costs.

Noteworthy's liability for accuracy of printed material ends with the customer's approval of the proof.

Normal production time is required following proof approval.

No charge for random plastic or paper product samples (in reasonable quantities).

Product samples are shipped via regular 1st class mail. Overnight delivery available.

Plate Charges

To calculate plate charges, measure the entire area of each color to be printed (include all copy, design and logo space), and multiply length times width. The resulting square inch plate cost for each color and for each side will be billed according to the following table:

Plates are stored for up to 2 years. Exact reorders will not incur plate charges.

Overruns/Underruns

All orders are subject to an overrun or underrun variation of 10% (unless indicated otherwise), and will be billed accordingly.

Product Variations

Product dimensions, thickness or gauge of film, handles and imprint colors on different styles or sizes thereof, on the same order or from order to order, may vary slightly within commercially acceptable standards.
Since post-printed bags (Low Minimum Plastic Bags, Paper and Frosted Shopping Bags) are a hand feed operation, position of copy may vary from bag to bag.
