We were proud to join the over <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sopastrike.com\/numbers\">115,000 websites<\/a> that blacked out or added a banner to raise awareness, including <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:SOPA_initiative\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/landing\/takeaction\/sopa-pipa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a>. Piracy of copyrighted content is not something we want to see, but having a special interest spend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/stories\/1111\/68448.html\">HUNDREDS of millions in lobbying and campaign donations<\/a> to try to buy new laws and regulations that will only hurt and hinder the internet as a whole is not something we are willing to sit by and watch happen.<\/p>\n<p>If you want a primer on what SOPA \/ PIPA are and why they are bad Matt Cutts wrote an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mattcutts.com\/blog\/internet-censorship-sopa\/\">excellent blog with details<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember that just because these bills died in their current form doesn&#8217;t mean they are dead forever.
