I wore shorts under my gown and carried 2 dozen beach balls in a couple of the then-fashionable fanny packs.<\/p>\n<p>As the commencement speech got rolling I blew up beach balls and people started batting them around.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I am certain some pre-med student named William Whatchamacallit the 4th had a grandparent in the audience who did not appreciate the auditorium looking like a popcorn machine full of beachballs.<br \/>\nLighten up Francis!<\/p>\n<p>I did notice a couple off the Summa Cum Laude group, and even a grandparent or two smiling and whaking the colorful beachballs when they landed near them.<\/p>\n<p>Beachballs bring smiles to faces no matter how they are used!<\/p>\n<p>You can them custom imprinted with your graduation slogan or company motto!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/toys\/beachballs\">www.imprintitems.com\/toys\/beachballs<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imprintitems.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/graduation.jpg\" alt=\"graduation beach balls\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I graduated from college (and I won&#8217;t tell the year!)
