Gaining increased attention in mental health awareness, is child depression. Mental disorders in children are just as real, common and treatable as they are in adults. Left untreated, children’s mental health disorders can lead to problems at home, trouble in school and in the community, substance abuse and even suicide. With school shootings and other tragedies, awareness needs to continue increasing so we can help and protect our children! Wear a green ribbon on May 8th, Children’s Depression Awareness Day, to draw attention to child depression.<\/p>\n
