{"id":603,"date":"2008-04-23T18:08:08","date_gmt":"2008-04-23T23:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imprintitems.com\/blog\/?p=603"},"modified":"2008-04-25T11:16:01","modified_gmt":"2008-04-25T16:16:01","slug":"memorial-day-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imprintitems.com\/blog\/603\/memorial-day-2008","title":{"rendered":"Memorial Day 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men were boasting to each other about their old army days.<br \/>\n&#8220;Why, my outfit was so well drilled,&#8221; declared one, &#8220;that when they presented arms all you could hear was slap, slap, click.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Very good,&#8221; conceded the other, &#8220;but when my company presented arms you&#8217;d just hear slap, slap, jingle.&#8221; &#8220;What was the jingle?&#8221; asked the first. &#8220;Oh,&#8221; replied the other offhand, &#8220;just our medals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This year Memorial Day falls on May 26, 2008. This is a holiday in which we celebrate the deceased, especially those of the Armed Services. This can be an occasion where an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imprintitems.com\/lapelpins\/patriotic\/usflag\">American Flag Pin<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imprintitems.com\/lapelpins\/patriotic\/supporttroopsribbon\">yellow remembrance ribbon<\/a> would be appropriate to wear. These items are great for this special day.
