Back in November of last year we mentioned that Extreme Makeover Home Edition used our purple Violence awareness pins<\/a> and wore them on the show. Read that blog article<\/a><\/p>\n

Domestic Violence is a type of physical abuse that usually inflicted upon a family member such as a spouse, child, parent, or other family member. “It is hard to know exactly how common domestic violence is, because people often don’t report it.”

As stated above, people don’t usually report domestic violence. This is because they are either scared or don’t know what to do or how to do it. Domestic Violence Awareness Pins<\/a> help to give nonverbal attention to the problem of domestic violence. It can also help to start a conversation regarding it. Let those suffering with domestic violence know that there are those out there that care for them and it can encourage them to get help. Domestic Violence is a big issue, don’t let it slip by you.<\/p>\n

Purple awareness ribbon pins are also used to represent Hodgkin\u2019s Lymphoma awareness and support.<\/span><\/p>\n
