Does anyone get this joke?
Why did the frog cross the road?
Because he was stapled to a chicken!
I am guessing this is one a kid made up and then started laughing hysterically.
Then the parents probably laughed at the kid’s laughter, rather than at the joke.
From there the joke was retold as “the one that cracked up mom and dad.”
But really…why wasn’t the frog just riding on the chicken?
