Corporations use them for building access. Colleges and Universities require them for registering for classes. In many cases they allow you to check out a book, log onto a computer, or get a meal.

These cards are very intelligent. You can go online and add funds to your business or campus dining program.

With advanced technology comes more expensive and more technologically advanced ID cards.

The cost of the card is enough -often up to $20 each- to make card offices want to be certain you do no lose them or damage them. Often the management cost of issuing a new card even exceeds the card itself.
