Plastic Calf Weaners (also known as a cow nose thorn or heifer nose ring) is a safe and effective way to help calves wean from sucking milk while allowing them to stay penned with their mothers. The shape of the nose clip allows for the bovine to continue eating grass, hay, and grain while helping other animals to know when to prevent the calf from sucking or licking. Preventing animal to animal licking also helps lower infections and virus transfer.
