The term arthritis refers to about 120 different diseases that can affect the joints, muscles and other soft tissues. The three most common forms are osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Forty-six million Americans report that a doctor told them they have arthritis or other rheumatic conditions. Arthritis is the most common cause of disability in the United States, limiting the activities of nearly 19 million adults. The colors for arthritis awareness are purple and navy blue.
These nice looking and durable awareness pins are a great way to spread the word about arthritis. These colors can also be used to support other causes.
