It won't leach chemicals, or impart strange flavors into your food, nor will it heat up in your hand, or bend under high temperature conditions. It won't scratch the surface of your dishes or pots, either. Also, Bamboo is better for the planet, creating 35% more oxygen than similar sized stand of trees, needing no chemicals to grow, and requiring less fresh water to grow. Bamboo is often mistaken for a tree but is, in fact, a grass. That gives it a unique grain that is both elegant and natural looking. As a natural product, tone variations may occur. Heat resistant up to 450 degrees F. Hand washing recommended. FDA certified.
