Since these are cut from corrugated plastic material (often referred to as Cartonplast) they are stronger than cardboard or paper stock-based fans and can generate a good breeze with the added bonus of being weather (water) resistant/waterproof. This item is also available as a plain Corrugated Plastic Hand Fan (no numbering) with many more shapes available. They are made in the USA.
