Simply pull the double-lever away from the body and the spiral raises up to the vertical position automatically, making it ready for use. The elongated, super spiral has an indented filet line for easier insertion. The first lever pulls the cork partially; then, an extra-long, second lever avoids slippage and allows more finger pressure against the bottle rim while the curved handle adds leverage.
