Please submit all artwork to art@imprintitems.com

Our Art Department will review your artwork and let you know if it can be used directly or if we will need to "clean it up" for printing.

Art Requirements & Fees

For spot color imprinting all artwork should be provided in a vector format (.eps, .ai, .svg, .pdf) with all text outlined. For full color imprints, we prefer Adobe Illustrator based files (.ai or .eps), but any file will work as long as it meets the following requirements. All text and logos should be vector based whenever possible (please convert all text to outlines to avoid font substitutions). All raster images (photos) should be embedded in the file and AT LEAST 300 dpi at the final print size. If you or your designer has any questions please feel free to call.

Note, even if your artwork is saved in one of these formats it may not be a high enough quality for us to use.

If your artwork isn't vector based, we can take whatever you have, whether it's a .jpg, .gif, or a photo of a napkin--and create the artwork for you.

All art fees will be quoted and require prepayment before any design work being done. The average art charge is only $20, even if we are converting from a rough sketch. Don't fret; we won't laugh. Just send us what you have and we will offer an art quote.

Stock Typesetting / Available Fonts

If you don't have a specific design in mind and want a quick message we can create text-only artwork for you. You can choose your desired font from the Google Fonts Libary (just send us the name of the font, make sure it is noted as part of the open-source catalog with a download button and not an external font with a link to another site), or choose from the listing of our most popular fonts. You must mention any specific font you would like when you place your order.

Stock Artwork / Clipart

If you are looking to add some stock artwork or clipart to your imprint, we recommend using OpenClipArt.org. All of their artwork is free to download and to use (free unlimited commercial usage).

Pantone Color Chart (PMS Colors)

To see approximate colors visit our online PMS color chart.
Note: Colors shown are only approximate, they may vary from one monitor or printer to the next. If you must have an exact color match, we suggest you visit a local print shop and ask to view their actual Pantone Chart.

Screenprinted Garments

We can mix any of the Pantone colors shown on the PMS chart for screenprinting on t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other garments. However, for your convenience, and to save you ink color match charges, we offer some inks that are available in stock at no charge. See our in stock screen print ink colors.

Screens are created on a per order basis; therefore, each order is subject to a screen order charge. The screen charge does not give the customer ownership of the printing screen. We will email you an art proof for approval before submitting your order to production. Art charges and screen charges apply only for use at Collegiate Concepts. If other outputs are required, please ask when you place your order.

Embroidery Setup Digitizing

Digitizing is the process of converting your logo or design into a special computer file that enables certain types of equipment to embroider your design.

A typical left-chest or hat-sized design will cost $75 to $150 to setup for embroidery on Collegiate Concepts equipment. If your design consists only of simple words and your design requires no specific font, you may be able to waive this setup fee. In-stock logos (for example, shamrocks, stars, or cows) are available merged with simple text for a setup fee of $25.

The digitizing fee is for Collegiate Concepts equipment only. If you require a backup of the design, you may request one when placing your order for a $45 fee; however, these are not guaranteed to work on other embroidery equipment.

Any backups of digitized designs requested after you have placed your order will be subject to a pull fee, billed at $50 per hour, with the average backup request taking thirty minutes.

College and University Logos

The parent company of ImprintItems.com is Collegiate Concepts Custom Decorated Products. A large number of our clients are Colleges and Universities primarily in the United States. The ImprintItems.com website targets businesses and other clients
that are not Colleges. We also have the domain name CollegiateConcepts.com

These two websites are exactly the same. Some of our College clients find it easier to remember ImprintItems.com.

We are not approved to print all College and University logos on shirts or promotional products. We typically can do so on products that are not intended for resale. For example, if the Admissions office wants to give away pens printed with the college logo while recruiting incoming students, this is usually alright. For more information click here

Company / Corporate logos:

ImprintItems.com has many large companies' logos on hand or can obtain them on your behalf. Small to mid-sized companies may be available, but it is best if you email them to us in .ai or .eps or other camera-ready formats.
