Looking at the mountain of candy the kids brought home and the rumpled Halloween costumes flung over the chair reminds me that December really isn’t all that far away –even if the grass is still a lovely green outside! How lucky; I remember years when my mother made me wear my snow pants under my costume for trick or treating.
For those of you who have never experienced going door to door in 8 inches of snow for treats–well, I think you may be missing out.
It is fun to imagine that while we are putting on costumes and carving pumpkins here in Minnesota, that kids in Australia, Ireland, Canada, and elsewhere are doing the same.
In contrast with Halloween, which is not recognized by all countries, December 1st is a day set aside to support those with AIDS and provide education about AIDS world wide. The whole WORLD…the efforts of people in every country, on every continent to make sure that we, as a planet, are educated about this thing that affects our friends, our families, ourselves, our world, and the future of our world.
Imprintitems.com provides numerous resources for organizations participating in World Aids Day. One of our most popular AIDS/HIV awareness products is our red ribbon lapel pin. These are often handed out by Aids Awareness Groups or worn by everyone in an office or department or school on World Aids Day.
Another great product to help get the facts into the hands of the multitudes is our “Knowing the Facts about AIDS” booklet. This handy pamphlet folds to the size of a business card, featuring valuable info about AIDS and HIV.
